This must be Lucey when comparing the close-up front view faces with ears directed outwards, as in his signed Hangman Special Case No.5 in #2.
Originally credited to Irv Novick, but the movement of the figures are too stiff and awkward, and none of his faces are found here. Notice inking and the narrow pointed ears, which can be found in some other stories in Fran Frazer and Zambini, Zip Comics #23.
Originally credited to Bernard Klein, but this has none of his small heads with angry eyebrows in sideview. It is identical to King's signed stories in #19.
Originally credited to Paul Reinman, but no wedge shaped faces with eyes out of line here. The art is similar to Montana's signed St. Louis Kid story, and he is credited on this feature by Jerry Bails' Who's Who.
