- Synopsis
- Rampage stops by the Champions' offices to deliver a message about their teammate, the Black Widow. Instead, his exo-skeleton explodes. Then the Champions split up: Ghost Rider takes Rampage to the hospital, Iceman and Ivan search for Natasha, and Hercules and the Angel prepare for a press conference introducing the Champions to the world. But the conference is interrupted by the arrival of the Griffin, the Titanium Man and the Crimson Dynamo.

- Synopsis
- Black Goliath stops the Champions' sky-car from crashing and reveals that he designed the ship. He discovers that the metal used in the construction of the ship was of inferior quality. The Champions, including new ally Darkstar, travel to Arizona and help Hawkeye and the Two-Gun Kid defeat the Warlord Kaa and his Shadow-Aliens. Back in LA, a girl arrives at Champions base carrying a box (formerly belonging to the Stranger) that was stolen from Bill Foster's lab a week ago. The Stilt-Man breaks into Champions HQ looking for the box.

- Synopsis
- In Los Angeles, the Champions and Black Goliath drive away Stilt-Man. The Goliath chases after and ultimately defeats Stilt-Man. The Stranger arrives and tells the team that the box is the Null-Life Bomb. The bomb activates and begins to grow in size. The Stranger enters the bomb to try to disarm is and teleports the Champions away. The team find themselves in another realm and are attacked by Kamo Tharnn and his Beast-Men.

- Synopsis
- Inside the Null-Life Bomb the Stranger is attempting to slow the expansion of the bomb. The Champions figure out that they were sent to steal Kamo Tharn's Runestaff in order to disarm the bomb but, at an earlier date, Hercules had already taken the Runestaff to earth in order to aid Thor. Darkstar travels back to earth to acquire the Runestaff and, with the aid of the Stranger, uses it to disarm the bomb.

- Synopsis
- Iceman crashes at Angel's pad for a little fun with his new girl when a mysterious Sentinel attacks. With the Master Mold hot on his trail, Angel arrives at Gamma Base and gets the Hulk involved in the battle. Master Mold captures both of the mutants and the jade giant but cannot handle the savage fury of the Hulk. The station is destroyed and the three heroes make it back to Earth in dramatic fashion.
