Synopsis
The Thing is cooling his heels in the New Mexico desert when he decides to head to Florida and take on the Man-Thing for appropriating his name. In an alternate dimension, the Molecule Man has duplicated himself and his "son" decides to take vengeance on the Fantastic Four when his "father" dies. Instead of arriving in New York, Molecule Man finds himself in the Florida Swamp where Thing and Man-Thing are able to separate the villain from his power staff and reduce him to dust.

Synopsis
The child-like alien, Wundarr, falls into the ocean near Namorita but flees when Namor arrives and menaces him. Arriving in New York, Wundarr battles the Thing until Namor and his cousin show up and explain to Grimm that he has the mind of a child and means no harm. The Thing and his allies then have to save Wundarr from his alien people who have sent a giant robot to kill him. With the Dakkams driven off, Namor and Nita leave Wundarr in the tender loving care of a very unhappy Thing.

Synopsis
The Thing takes Wundarr to the zoo but the child-like alien causes havoc when he begins to free the animals. Steve and Sharon are enjoying a nice day together when the mayhem ensues and Cap lends a hand. Namorita is conveniently also in the vicinity and takes Wundarr off the Thing's hands. Ben returns to the Baxter Building with Cap and Sharon in tow and they are shocked to discover a woman from the far future. Tarin spins an apocalyptic tale of the subjugation of earth by the Badoon and Reed sends The Thing, Cap and Sharon back with her to the future to save humanity.

Synopsis
The Widow is trying to escape from members of the Sword of Judgment when she literally runs over the Thing who is out taking a walk in the park with Alicia. The Sword captures the Thing and the Widow and takes them to their floating ocean platform where Natasha learns that the terrorists are being led by an old flame. While the Thing tries to pull up three miles of cable attached to a powerful nuclear bomb from the ocean floor, Black Widow fights off Agamemnon and his followers to give her ally time to save the world from destruction.
