Julius Schwartz's editorial records, provided by DC Comics, list Gil Kane as penciler and as inker. Bob Rozakis credited Gil Kane as the sole artist of this cover in Green Lantern #100 (January 1978). The exclusive Kane credit was repeated in Showcase Presents Green Lantern vol. 2 (2007). However art experts believe the inker is Murphy Anderson, a credit corroborated by Bob Bailey who had a conversation with Anderson, in which Anderson recalled working on this cover, but that he was finishing or re-inking a cover inked first by Kane.
