Synopsis

Max meets Julia as he is signing at a comic book convention. Later they meet again and she invites him to dinner. While there, Julie talks cryptically about the case work she does and then suddenly ends the dinner. While working on a job, Max is offered a convention appearance in Istanbul. When he arrives, Julia is there at the airport waiting on him.

During these events, Max is in the midst of drawing a samurai story, which serves as an allegory to his story line.
