Blaming Kadaver for the circumstances which transformed him, Mitchel seeks him out to exact revenge. Meanwhile, Kadaver sends his aide Webley to kill a hobo named Dalton Walls.

Kadaver, who had been contracted by Hobart to kill Walls, learns that Walls was actually an eccentric millionaire living as a hobo, and that his nephew Hobart would inherit millions from Walls' death. Kadaver tortures Hobart until he agrees to pay Kadaver millions. As Batman arrives to apprehend Kadaver, the Corrosive Man also arrives seeking revenge on Kadaver.
