Synopsis
Archie and Reggie end up in basic training together, then learn that they are being sent to northern Africa. Back home, Mary and Fred each blames the other for Archie's enlistment until they find out that he forged Fred's signature. Moose defends Chuck against thugs who don't think he belongs in the military. Hiram Lodge takes advantage of the war to raise gasoline prices at his stations, while his daughter callously talks to Betty about the danger that Archie is facing overseas.
