Indexer Notes

The original story in The Flash Annual #1 was 38 pages long. This collection only includes the 10 pages that were part of the Flash War storyline. The other 28 pages dealt with Wally West's life since returning from the Speed Force. Those 28 pages are not included here, but were included in Volume 6 of this series under the story title "The Secret Life of Wally West".

Professor Zoom [Reverse-Flash; Eobard Thawne] was killed by Iris West in the 25th century Flash Museum in The Flash (DC, 2016 series) #27.

The Renegades are a 25th century police task force comprised of future versions of the rogues. They previously appeared in The Flash (DC, 2010 series) #1-6. The original Mirror Monarch turned up dead in issue #1 of that series, but in this issue he has been replaced by a second Mirror Monarch.

Indexer Notes

In the final battle against Zoom, the older Wally defeats Zoom by using temporal energies against him in the Speed Force. As a result of their confrontation, the connection between the Speed Force and Hypertime is broken, which means that no speedster can travel through time anymore, even with the help of a cosmic treadmill. Commander Cold is stranded in the present because of this, unable to return to the 25th Century.

The mystery 25th Century prisoner is later revealed to be Paradox in The Flash (DC, 2016 series) #88.
