Synopsis
After graduation from P.S. 45, Herbie sets his sights on his father's old school, Peepwhistle Prep. Herbie pledges his father's fraternity, Tappa Kegga Koke, and passes all the tests, but is still not admitted. With Peepwhistle Prep in financial ruin, Herbie helps them strike it rich with oil.

Indexer Notes

Page 4 contains a reference to Herbie Popneckner, an error attributed in #13 "Here's Herbie!" (letters) to "crazy mixed-up letterer Ed Hamilton". Ed Hamilton was the main letterer for ACG from the late 1940s on.

This is the first issue in which the credits are spiced up.
