Synopsis

Synopsis
Clark takes a job as a custodian until he can get a job as a reporter, and learns how his co-workers feel about life and politics in Metropolis. Clark tries to get an interview with Perry White, but Perry and Lois get called away to the mayor's office, where they learn that the building explosions were deliberate, and the city is being blackmailed to prevent further attacks. When the city decides to fight back, Clark as "the flying man" must rescue victims from another explosion.

Synopsis

Synopsis
Another attack on the city is thwarted by "the flying man" and Lex Luthor. However, Clark suspects that Luthor is behind the attacks and confides in Lois. Lois confronts Luthor, as Clark uncovers Luthor's missiles used in the attacks, but Luthor destroys the evidence. Impressed with Clark's skills, Lois recommends that Perry hires him, and Clark dons the Superman suit to warn Luthor that he will be watching him in the future.
