- Ducharme is revealed to be Nayland Smith's mole inside Fu Manchu's organization. But Smith has not found Fu's mole within his. Clive and Chi, then Leiko, are attacked on the road by masked assassins (presumably the Golden Dagger). The men escape but Leiko does not. In the hospital the wounded Shock-wave implicates Petrie as the mole, then shoots Smith!

- Leiko Wu and Clive Reston enter a silo in Fu Manchu's fortress to find what appears to be a large spacecraft. Alerted, Fu Manchu is confronted by Black Jack Tarr. Tarr doesn't stand a chance and Fu secures the spacecraft. Shang-Chi battles his ancestor Shaka Kharn. It doesn't go well, though he does manage to escape. Fu Manchu and Shaka Kharn take off in the spacecraft just before Larner collapses the mountain, dying in the process.

- Shang-Chi and Clive Reston did not die in the collapsed fortress - they snuck aboard Fu Manchu's rocketship. Chi confronts his father. While they talk, Shaka Kharn forgoes his rejuvenation treatment to battle Chi. Without the treatment he is defeated. The controls have been sabotaged: Fu Manchu cannot complete his awful plan. He escapes in a shuttle pod - to drift in space.

- Synopsis
- Shang-Chi runs into Rufus T. Hackstabber in Morocco after Rufus is thrown out of his hotel by Si-Fan warriors. Shang and Rufus then go to visit Rufus' cousin Quigley J. Warmflash and his daughter Dinah while still being pursued by Si-Fan warriors working for Tiger Claw.
