Synopsis
On Christmas Eve in Mouseton, Mickey and Goofy are transported to the medieval-like realm of Argaar, where they help the sage wizard Yor, his aide Boz, and the hero's-hero Gunni Helm end the tyranny of The Prince of Mists. To complicate matters, Boz presents Goofy to the citizens of Ululand (an oppressed settlement within Argaar) as the "cousin" of a once-legendary hero of Argaar. Is Goofy equal to the task? ...And how will our heroes explain missing Minnie's Christmas Eve party?

Synopsis
Another Christmas Eve, another summoning of Mickey and Goofy to the realm of Argaar by the wizard Yor. This time, to save Ululand, now technologically advanced and which has come to worship Goofy as its hero, from imminent destruction by an exploding volcano. To obtain the rare crystalline mineral that will permanently dampen the volcano, Goofy must emerge victorious in “The Great Tournament of Argaar”, against some very fierce competition from across the entire realm. Problem is, everyone thinks Goofy is a great hero… except Goofy! Can Mickey and the Ulus get Goofy “tournament-ready” in time?
