Synopsis
On Sigma Iotia II, the democratic election process becomes complicated when one party nominates Spock as its candidate for President. On the day of the election, Kirk, McCoy, Spock, and Krako race to mount a rescue operation for a space station that is falling from orbit. Meanwhile on the Enterprise, Scotty, Uhura, Sulu, and Chekov deal with sabotage and an uprising led by Ensign Satie, who demands that the Tholian child be removed from the ship.
