Synopsis:
Pocketclip hires Joe Period to act as a go-between between himself and singer Julie Marrlin. Pocketclip fires Joe, citing his reckless driving as the reason. Joe decided to woo the singer for himself. Lizz searches the newspaper records and police files as she waits to take the civil service exam for a police officer. Tracy thinks she's looking for someone specific. Pocketclip is found murdered in Julie's apartment, and Joe Period is the prime suspect.

Synopsis:
Joe Period jumps from a third-floor apartment and cushions his fall by landing atop a parked car. He then leads Tracy and Sam on a chase through the city. Julie collapses, and TRracy realizes that she was hit by the bullet that killed her parakeet. Lizz tells Tracy that Julie is her sister. Lizz arrives at the hospital just in time to say a few words before her sister dies. Meanwhile, Joe Period finds himself lost in a maze of pipes in a building's service corridor.
