- Synopsis
- It is the season of fish-running, where the boys of the tribe chase spawning fish into their elders' nets. It's going well until Arak suddenly hurls a rock at his adoptive father's net, smashing it. It appears he's brought shame on his family until they all realize that Arak was actually saving the man's life by killing a venomous snake in the net. Also in the net is a turtle, a good omen. All in all, it's another example of the tribe's eternal struggle with the Serpent-Lord.
