Synopsis
Bombo tells clown Boppo about Pagliacci, whose personal woes made his clown act great. Boppo decides to ask the new aerialist Delecta to marry him, figuring he'll be heartbroken when she refuses. However, she agrees to marry the clown to spite lion tamer Rinaldo. Boppo is worried that he won't be unhappy, but Rinaldo attacks him for stealing his girlfriend.
