High school student Bess bets Greta that she can make shy Paul date her and kiss her. Bess discovers she actually likes Paul, but can’t bring herself to tell him about the wager. She writes him a letter of explanation but doesn’t send it. When Paul and Bess attend the big dance together, he kisses her and Greta announces that Bess has won the bet. Paul admits that he found the letter Bess had written, but it doesn’t matter: they really love each other.
Pat runs the Double Loop dude ranch, but needs money to keep it operating. Her boyfriend Hank says he’ll marry wealthy Tess and save the ranch, but continue to see Pat on the side. Pat slaps him. Tess says a magazine will pay $10,000 for photo rights to “a real Western wedding,” if Pat marries neighboring cowboy Hob. When Hob learns of the scheme, he breaks up with Pat. Hank volunteers to marry her instead. Tess admits she was going to pay the $10,000 to get Pat out of the way. Pat is rescued by Hob when her horse runs wild. Hob will marry Pat and Hank will marry Tess.

Synopsis

Synopsis
