Synopsis
Volthoom, possessing Rami's body, takes Simon and Jessica to the Vault of Shadows, where he recovers the first power ring. He reveals his true form and Simon and Jessica must stop him from taking control of Jessica's ring, one of the original seven Green Lantern rings, which he plans to use to transport himself and the Lanterns to his home universe. Ten billion years ago, we see a Tamarean and a Coluan chosen to be two more of the first seven Green Lanterns.

Indexer Notes

The Vault of Shadows is revealed to be the final resting place of the first seven Green Lanterns. It is referred to as a sister to the Chamber of Shadows, which is the prison where Volthoom was kept for ten billion years, as revealed in issue #18.
