Indexer Notes

Story is set in the past when Diana first left Themyscira to come to America. Storyline continues in even-numbered issues. Story continued from issue #6 and continues in issue #12 (issue #8 is a Year One interlude).

It is revealed that prior to Diana's visit from the Gods when they bestowed their gifts to her (in issue #6), she did not have extraordinary powers. She demonstrated super strength when she broke out of her cell at the end of issue #6. In this issue, she demonstrates super-speed and the ability to fly.

When Diana, Steve, Etta, and Barbara Ann all hold Wonder Woman's golden lasso, they have the ability to understand each other's languages. Prior to this, they were relying on Barbara Ann to act as a translator.
