Synopsis
Sonia is the court-appointed attorney defending artist Joseph, who’s charged with murdering his wife. She falls in love with him and bribes the prosecution’s witness to lie on the stand; Joseph is acquitted. Sonia says she knows he killed his wife—he admits it and attempts to murder Sonia but he’s shot to death by the police, summoned by Sonia’s colleague Herb.

Synopsis
Sally and Gene work in the same hospital and are in love; they decide to join the Navy to help change the world for the better. Sally, a nurse, is rated an officer while Gene is just an enlisted man. Sally dates Lt. Commander Bob and Gene thinks she’s a snob. Sent to a combat zone on a hospital ship, Sally sees Gene leap overboard to save sailors from another ship, including Bob. Sally realises it’s Gene she loves, and they reconcile.

Synopsis
Helen works in a welfare agency. Her supervisor Lon loves her, but he’s not rich enough to give her the luxuries she desires. When he suddenly takes her to fancy restaurants and gives her gifts, Helen thinks he’s stealing charity donations. Lon is arrested and Helen feels guilty. She sells the gifts and her own possessions to make restitution: Lon is freed and Helen asks him for another chance.
