Captain Cold has upgraded his tech and gets a new costume as a result of his deal with Luthor, as shown in "The Offer" in issue #75. He also provides an upgraded heat gun for Heat Wave.
Story title in the original issue was "Death of the Speed Force", it has been corrected here to match the subsequent chapters of this storyline.

- Synopsis
- Barry, Wallace, and Avery stop the Black Flash from killing Steadfast, as the Black Flash has determined that all the other Force users must die because the existence of the other Forces is weakening the Speed Force. Barry and Steadfast then seek out the other Force users, Fuerza and Psych, to stand together against the Black Flash. Meanwhile, Captain Cold and Heat Wave recruit a power-enhanced Weather Wizard to join them to take down the Flash.

- Synopsis
- Fearing the Black Flash, who is out to kill the other Force holders, Psych controls Steadfast to attack the Flash and Fuerza so that he can escape. Once Steadfast is freed from Psych's control, Flash, Steadfast, and Fuerza enlist the help of Commander Cold to track down Psych before the Black Flash can. Meanwhile, Captain Cold recruits Mirror Master to rejoin the Rogues.

- Synopsis
- Too late to save Psych from the Black Flash, Barry is determined to protect Fuerza and Steadfast from the speedster of death.
