A surprise twist involving Charles Foster Mutt and J. Joanna Jackal leaves the paper's future in question.

Spider-Ham catches the spy, and everyone returns to the present, where the scientist is thwarted... but has history changed?

Synopsis

Spider-Ham defeats the monster, but the director Cur-Asawa hires him, and our heroes head for home.

The "god" in charge turns out to be former reporter Winston Caribou, now insane. The Terriers show up, Peter saves the day, Winston is captured, but the fate of The Terriers is unknown.

Spider-Ham races into action, and discovers Dragon-Lassy controlling the robot. He transforms the wolf-robot into a sheep-robot and gets kissed by Joan Collie, but Jonah is captured by Dragon-Lassy. Spider-Ham rescues him, and reveals her secret identity.

Synopsis
Jonah takes Peter and the interns to the Hockawottamie Cheese Queen Beauty Pageant in Wisconsin. They get to see Sonny Quacker and Ricardo Slug of the Hockawottamie Vice catch a cheese thief. The interns interview the beauties, Spider-Ham and Vice catch a crook, a barn turns out to be the center of operations for The Kingpig, but Spider-Ham and Vice capture him and save the pageant. Back home, The Bee-Yonder gives Spider-Ham a black costume!

Synopsis
Spider-Ham captures The Pinhead of Crime. Spider-Ham arrives, and overcomes his fear to defeat Moooooooommy and the other horrors, who turn out to be quite friendly.

Synopsis
At an Ozzy Ostrich concert, the interns love the music, but Peter doesn't; all are impressed when Ozzy bites the head off a chocolate bunny. Spider-Ham fights Ozzy, but leaves when it turns out there was no crime. Ozzy's new guitar hypnotizes the crowd, but Peter has cotton in his ears. Fighting the crowd, he puts cotton in their ears, and Ozzy stops the Pawn Broker.

Synopsis
At the Daily Beagle, Peter works up the nerve to ask Batty Brant for a date, but she rejects him, plunging him into sorrow. Jonah and the interns become The Black Jackal and his Beagle Brigadeers (Bullet Bunny, Power Puss, Invisi-Jackal Junior), and they take Peter to a celebrity party. The Hobgobbler kidnaps Barbara Mandrill, and Spider-Ham rescues her. Arriving home, Aunt May introduces him to Mary Jane Waterbuffalo.

Synopsis
Peter goes out for Chinese food for Mary Jane, but gets kidnapped by Paste Pot Peep as he evades the Agents of SHEEP. Peep and Baron Zebro fly off, are chased by Captain Americat, and meet The Mad Stinker and his Ham-Droid at his submarine. (Meanwhile, Mary Jane is dancing alone at home.) The bad guys evade Doc Clamson, and go to China, where Magsquito defeats Iron Mouse, and they join The Mandaringtail and the dragon Doo Wop Doo. Spider-Ham fights The Mandaringtail, who defeats himself via a ring's misfiring, and SHEEP rushes in to save the day. Mary Jane decides she wants pizza after all.

Synopsis
Fat Cat tries to throw himself in the river, but the splash empties it, and attracts the attention of Bunsen, who tries to befriend him, but Fat Cat turns mean. Spider-Ham saves Bunsen, but they run into two more Fat Cats. Spider-Ham and the interns evade the cats, and head for a restaurant, but the Pig-Signal summons our hero to the prison, where the cats are planning to break in so they can eat and be left alone. Spider-Ham prepares to capture them, but Ducktor Doom, Dragon-Lassy, and other villains are breaking out, so he stops them, and the cats decide to go straight.
