Synopsis
Magma tells Empath about how she met her god: when she once doubted her faith, Hercules visited her, but she did not believe he was real until he saved a boy from a fire and told him stories all night until he died, a hero, like Jason and the Argonauts.

A fill-in issue. Most of this story is a flashback to events that probably occurred between issues #35 and #36 (since this seems to be the New Mutants' first meeting with Hercules, before issue #40).
