Issue Notes

This issue was distributed with a phone card (Gene Roddenberry's Lost Universe), a promo card for Tekno Comix, an August House promo card, and a cardboard badge urging the consumer to pick up a copy of Advance Comics.

On pages 4-5, there's something that starts with the line "Why should you read Starchild?" (written by James A. Owen). It is similar to the "Why you should read..." stories from previous issues, but since this one does not contain an actual story itself, it is not indexed in a separate sequence. It references Starchild #17, first issue in the Metropolis storyline, which seems to never have been published.

The individual issues of this series are each less than 50% comics. Only comics sequences are indexed and cover scans are accepted only if the issue has 10% indexed comics content.

The credit for Tom Fassbender as written is "edits by". Given that he is mostly an interviewer, it is more likely his role was more that of a writer.
