Synopsis
Fleeing from the Picts, Conan comes across a cave filled with treasures – and a terrible demon! Nearby, Zingarian nobleman Valenso has settled with his family up north to escape his past. Rival pirate captains, Strombanni and Zarono, land on the shores of Valensos domain, seeking the lost treasure of Tranicos. Valenso is not interested, but when he learns that the Stygian magician Thoth-Amon has been sighted nearby, he panics and declares he will do anything to board a ship. They are joined by Conan, who now is the only one who knows the location of the treasure.

Synopsis
Conan leads the rival pirate captains Strombanni and Zarono to the treasure of Tranicos, hoping that the guardian demon will kill them. Conan's plan fails, and they all form another uneasy alliance to battle the Picts and make it back to Valenso's fort. The fort is eventually overrun by the Picts and Valenso atones for his transgressions against Thoth-Amon when he is killed by a demon. Conan saves Valenso's niece and her servant girl and is rescued by a delegation of Aquilonian noblemen who ask him to help overthrow their mad king. The ever ambitious Conan agrees.

Synopsis
Young Conan is plying his trade as a thief in Arenjun when he learns of a talisman known as the Eye of Erlik, in the possession of the wizard Hisarr Zul. As Conan breaks into the wizard's stronghold, he encounters unexpected rivals; Ajhindar, in the employ of the king of Iranistand, along with Isparana and Karamek, working for the true owner of the talisman, the Khan of Zamboula. Isparana escapes with the talisman while Conan is left to face the wrath of Hisarr Zul, who imprisons Conan's soul in a mirror and tasks him with retrieving the talisman.

He is told of a shortcut through the mountains, guarded by a sand demon who turns out to be Hisarr Zul's brother Tosya. He lets Conan go, provided that he kills Hisarr Zul.

Synopsis
In Shadizar, Conan is approached by Khassek of Iranistan, who is searching for the talisman known as the Eye of Erlik for his king. On their way to Iranistan to deliver the talisman, they encounter the beautiful but dangerous Isparana, who has Khassek killed and seduces Conan. Meanwhile, Zafra the sorcerer bestows a gift upon Akter Khan of Zamboula – an enchanted sword that the khan uses to kill one of his wives, a young woman from the Shanki people.

Synopsis
Conan is captured and tortured by Zafra the wizard, but Zafra then dies of his own hand as he tries to kill Conan with an enchanted sword. Conan frees Isparana, but finds himself in the middle of a revolution as the nobleman Balad tries to depose Akter Khan. With contempt, Conan watches Balad killing the unarmed Khan, but Balad dies soon thereafter from Zafra's final enchantment. Conan and Isparana goad the rebels into making Akter's son Jungir the new khan.
