Art credits from Jerry Bails.
The exact plot for this story (but not the same dialogue) shows up later in the story "Disc Jockeying" in Candy (Quality Comics, 1947 Series) #49. That Candy story was written by Jack Mendelsohn, so that may indicate that Mendelsohn was involved in this story too (Mendelsohn was working for DC in this time period, on funny animal stories with Howie Post. This is the first indication that he may have been working on their teen stories).
