Synopsis
Playboy Derek’s uncle says he’ll cut him off without a cent unless Derek can find a “stand-out” wife in 30 days, without using his name or family fortune. Under a false name, Derek takes a job as a shoe clerk at a store frequented by socialite Liza. Fellow employee Betty helps Derek out in his job, and they fall in love. Liza flirts with Derek but he discovers she knows his true identity, so he goes back to Betty. Derek takes Betty to meet his uncle and he says she’s a good match for his nephew.

Synopsis
Nerdy college student Tod has a crush on “campus lovely” Amy, but she is dating football hero Bink. When Tod steps in to defend Amy during an argument with the burly Bink, Bink is accidentally injured and will miss the big football game. Tod arranges to have rival team's player Ace sidelined by overfeeding him at the soda shop where Tod works, and becomes a hero himself when his school’s team wins. Amy says she loves Tod because of his “character, intelligence, courage.”

Synopsis
June marries Al, who becomes a boxing champion. He promises to retire and does. 3 years later, Al signs for a comeback but won’t tell June why, so she leaves him. On the night of the fight, her brother Jimmy admits Al’s fighting to pay off Jimmy’s debts and keep him out of prison. June rushes to the arena and inspires Al. Al is defeated but he and June are reunited.
