The Silver Surfer #1 is seen briefly in the 1983 movie "Breathless" starring Richard Gere. The main character is clutching it while dancing and makes several complimentary comments about the appeal of the character. On-sale date from 1968 Periodicals, Copyright Office, Library of Congress.
