Max starts a dog-walking business and quickly has more dogs to walk than he can handle at one time. However, he has an idea that allows him to walk many dogs at once without issues.

Synopsis
Max overhears two men discussing that they need to lose weight and decides he should do the same. He spends the entire day doing exercises that he has seen Joe Palooka do when losing weight for a boxing match, wearing himself out in the process. Joe invites him and Casey out to dinner, and Max is so hungry from all of his exercise that he eats much more than usual. In the end, he has gained two pounds, but Joe tells him that it is healthy for a boy his age to gain weight.

Synopsis
Humphrey agrees to watch a baby while the baby's mothers does some shopping. He panics when the baby cries, not knowing how to comfort him. Running inside, he finds the mother, who tells him that the baby was just hungry, a condition with which Humphrey is all too familiar.

Synopsis
Lotta's friends and family cheer her on during a hash eating contest. Her chief competitor, Bernie Watkins, gives her a good run for her money, but she still manages to eat more hash than him, winning the contest. Hearing that she has eaten 26 plates of hash, her family arrange for the doctor to be there when she gets home, but she is more concerned about eating dinner when she arrives.
