Synopsis
The Enterprise returns home at the conclusion of its five year mission, and receives a warm reception from Starfleet. However, the reception is interrupted by the arrival of a Klingon ship that demands Kirk be turned over to them for crimes against the Klingon Empire. Meanwhile, McCoy is frustrated when the patients under his care aboard the Enterprise are transferred to another ship.

Synopsis

After serving as a protector of Earth for many years, Gary Seven learns that for the galaxy to survive, all races except the Tholians must be eliminated, and that the only one who can stop him is Captain Kirk and the Enterprise.
