When Veronica refers to Hot Dog as "Jughead's dog," the word "Jughead" is in different lettering from the rest of the balloon. Hot Dog was originally written as Archie's dog, and when he became Jughead's, this and several other stories were hastily re-lettered to reflect the change.

- Mrs. Lodge is spending all her time heading up various committees and do-gooder causes. Mr. Lodge takes his family to the seaside to get away from fashionable causes, but Mrs. Lodge's curiosity almost gets them blown up by an old WWII shell on the beach.
