The more Hauser gets involved into political corruptions and personal killings, the more the statue shows signs of deformation (like in "The Picture of Dorian Gray"). One day the overburdened statue crumbles - burying the baron under it.

- Art painter Dwight (who might have painted too many cat paintings...) behaves like a cat himself and even transforms partly into one. He fights madly with his girlfriend who tries to soothe him by imitating a cat herself. After seeing that (and hitting his head on a chair) Dwight comes to his senses and swears to destroy all his cat pictures.
