Synopsis
Brilliant scientist Latham constructs a telescope-like thought machine which pulls alien intelligence down to earth. Having just killed his wife in a domestic quarrel, the alien intruder takes over Flora's body. Alien Flora urges Latham to adjust the machine's beam so that millions of invaders can come down to earth. In a last effort, the scientist blows up his laboratory, thus saving the day.

As the man comes to his senses again, nothing seems to have happened. Opening a newspaper, he learns that all those things really happened. Is he now due for the tortures of hell?
