- Private Archie Peddy has a kind disposition, something that holds him back from being a stand-out soldier. Archie befriends a stray cat while touring with his outfit in Pusan. He is sent to deliver a message to a remote unit. While away, his unit is captured, and the Communist enemy kills Archie's cat. Archie returns in time to witness this, the sight of which turns him into a fighting tiger. Archie rescues his unit.
