anthropomorphic-funny animals
Characters
Tweety Bird; Sylvester Pussycat; Dr. H.D. Shrink

Keywords

Indexer Notes

The dialogue in this story is both lively and full of jokes and puns – more so than the usual fare. Also, on Page One / Panels 2-3, Sylvester “quiets-down” Tweety by putting a cloth over his cage, as one would do with pet canaries. This is nicely conveyed by one panel of Sylvester walking toward Tweety’s cage with the cloth, and the next panel is a full-figure of Tweety completely surrounded by blackness.

First Line of Dialogue or Text
Gasp! The wind blew my magic hat off!
Genre
anthropomorphic-funny animals
Characters
Tweety Bird; Sylvester Pussycat; medieval-style wizard; truck driver; traffic cop; boy pedestrian
Synopsis
A strong wind blows the magic hat off the head of a medieval-style wizard, and smack onto an unwitting Sylvester, upon whose head it sticks tight and remains fast. Tweety and Sylvester try in vain to separate cat from hat.
Keywords
magic hat; unwitting recipient; wind; wizard

Indexer Notes

Despite the anachronistic presence of a medieval-style wizard and his castle, the story would seem to take place in 1975 - the year in which it was published. There is no “Tweety and Sylvester” title logo in the opening splash panel of this story – just the story title itself.
