This is not an exact reprint of the story from Detective 27. Instead, it appears to be a traced, redrawn, and re-lettered copy of the original story. One significant alteration is that the knife jutting from the back of the murder victim (on page 2, panel 2 of the original story) has been removed in this version. In addition, a word balloon where the killer confesses to the crime has been deleted (page 6, panel 2 of the original story - "Sure... I did it! But you won't send me to the 'chair' for it! I'll -- ").
