Issue Notes

Al Capp had numerous assistants at various times throughout the run of Li'l Abner. They are not easily identifiable. The story and art credits listed as Al Capp should more accurately be ascribed to Al Capp Studios. Until everyone who contributed to the art and story can be identified, story and art credits will read Al Capp.

She is rescued by Miss Wolf Larsen, who informs her that they are headed to Pig Island to deliver a cargo of wives. Daisy Mae is saved by Li'l Abner. Tricked into marrying Daisy Mae, Li'l Abner closes his eyes as the ceremony begins. When he opens his eyes, he discovers that an earthquake has destroyed the island except for the small piece of ground occupied by Daisy Mae and him.
