Indexer Notes

J'onn's apartment number is shown to be #225, an homage to J'onn's first appearance in Detective Comics #225. Detective Certa appears to be an homage to Joe Certa, who illustrated early Martian Manhunter stories. J'onn's apartment complex is named Middlentown Apartments, which is similar to Middleton, Colorado, where the early Martian Manhunter stories were set.

J'onn is shown to use multiple secret identities.

The Human Flame in this story is not the same Human Flame who has appeared in the past. As revealed in the next issue, this is someone new who was given the armor of the previous Human Flame.
