Synopsis
Mr. Rich tells Richie about Midas Rich, who founded the family fortune. He describes Midas as a financial wizard who could almost see the future. Richie then meets Professor Potts, who wants funding for a time machine invention. Richie tests it out and travels back in time to meet Midas Rich. Midas turns out not to be a financial genius, but on Richie's advice buys up land that will one day produce oil. Back in the present, Richie asks for an advance on his allowance to fund the time machine's development, but his father tells him to avoid such nonsense and look to the future like Midas Rich.
