- Synopsis
- Former marine and recently widowed acting star, Rank Johnson, retires from Hollywood to work vice in the 49th precinct Los Angeles using his skills in make-up, disguises, dialects and martial arts. First up, the case against militant Rastafarians targeting drug running to children. He'll need the help of his bodyguard, an ex-mercenary, The Colonel.
The voodoo villain, Garp, looks remarkably like a caricature of Robin Williams, who played T S Garp in the 1982 film, The World According to Garp, a film popular at the time this story was being developed. Perhaps because this issue was several years in the making, the art evolves as the 88-page story unfolds. The story's title is taken from the cover.
