Indexer Notes

First appearance of Mad Doctor Doom's old barnstorming biplane, which would become a regular presence in his stories.

A running gag in the Mad Doctor Doom stories is that he and Chester always have to do mundane things even as they discuss their supervillainous plans; here we see Doom renting a car to take them to their lair at Crackstone Manor.

Indexer Notes

First appearance of Sue Stringly. In a re-designed version, she would become a semi-regular character after Bolling returned to "Little Archie" in the late '70s.

Jimmy Lee, who was introduced as an aspiring reporter in "Little Archie Mystery Comics," has now been promoted to a full-fledged reporter.
