- Synopsis
- To get his mind off a bad investment in a failing minor league baseball team, Mr. Lodge flies up to his lodge on Arrowhead Lake, taking Veronica and Little Archie with him. On a visit to Coyote Canyon, they meet the Abominable Snowman, aka Bigfoot. To scare him away, Little Archie hurls rocks at him, but Bigfoot picks up a tree branch and hits each rock a mile away. Mr. Lodge gets the idea that by capturing and taming the beast, he'd have the player he needs to save his team. But Little Archie and Veronica don't like the idea, and Little Archie sneaks back to warn Bigfoot before it's too late.
Billy Grumbelly, the perpetually grumbling caretaker, would reappear in Bolling's "Lonely Lobo" (Archie and Me #149).
