- Synopsis
- Meet Clyde Didit (also known as "Orbit"), a guitar-playing musician with sunglasses and hideous fashion sense. He starts to make advances to Josie, encouraged by Josie and discouraged by Pepper. But every time Clyde or anyone else sings his signature song "Sock It To Me," someone socks it to him.

As of this issue, Albert has been dropped from the comic. Clyde Didit, a re-designed version of a character who originally appeared in "Archie's Mad House," is here introduced to take his place as the resident musician and the object of affection for both Josie and Alexandra.
This issue is full of references and homages to the then-popular TV series "Laugh-In," including the catchphrase "Sock It To Me."

- Alexandra kicks her brother in the behind. Melody arrives with a message for Alex, written down in a place she can't forget. Josie and Alex get into a taxi and chase a stolen hearse. Archie and Jughead, in a cameo, don't care for Clyde Didit's singing.
