Synopsis
Ginny is engaged to Russ, a college basketball player and law student. She offers to support them until he graduates, but he refuses, saying they'll have to wait two years to wed. Russ takes money from a gambler to throw a game and is arrested. Ginny learns he has been unfaithful to her as well. Hewitt, the son of Ginny's employer, who loves Ginny, puts up bail for Russ. Russ flees to Mexico. Ginny realizes she loves Hewitt, not Russ.

Synopsis
Babette's stepfather Oscar runs a shady tavern and gambling joint, which ruins her reputation with her high school classmates. Minister's son Don befriends Babette and they fall in love. Don's father is behind the movement to close down the bar, so Oscar plans to frame Don and blackmail him. For her daughter's sake, Babette's mother tips off the police and they raid the bar. Don and Babette can now be together.

Synopsis
Kathy's widowed mother runs a coal town boarding house. As a child, Kathy would "sell" her kisses to the miners, but as a teen she puts a stop to it. Colby is attracted to Kathy but calls her "cheap stuff!" Time passes and Kathy inherits money from one of the miners and the boarding house from her mother. Remembering Colby, she doesn't date anyone until Joe comes along. Colby returns and Kathy says she's been faithful to him, but Colby is suspicious of Joe and the miner who left Kathy money. Joe punches Colby. Kathy realizes it's Joe she loves.

Synopsis
