He is happily ever married to the farmer's daughter.

- A stonemason is crushed to death by a falling gravestone. He tries to make a deal with death: Kill other people if he is allowed to live on. But fate teaches him a lesson. All his actions are fruitless. Fate and death crush him again under the gravestone. Because "his life had run its course".
