Synopsis
Batman and the Gotham Police break up a gathering of villains and arrest them all. Once in custody, Gordon and Bullock interview the Joker to determine if he played a role in the murder of the Riddler. In flashback, we see the Riddler pursuing a mysterious box and offering to partner with the Joker, but the Joker turns him down.

Synopsis
Gordon and Bullock continue their interview the Joker to find out who killed the Riddler, while Detectives Allen and Montoya interrogate Black Mask. In flashback, we see Black Mask travels to Russia to acquire one of the mystery artifacts, but he is not the only Gotham villain interested in it. Also, Harley Quinn tracks another of the artifacts where she has an encounter with Mad Hatter.

Synopsis
Gordon and Bullock continue to interrogate the Joker, while other detectives interrogate Two-Face, trying to piece together the events that led to the murder of the Riddler. In flashback, we see The Joker pay Two-Face a visit, leading to Harvey confronting Deathstroke over possession of one of the artifacts, while Catwoman sends Man-Bat to get one of the other artifacts that Killer Moth is after.

Synopsis

Synopsis
As Gordon and Bullock continue their interrogation, The Joker tells them how three teams of villains converged on a deserted warehouse to battle each other for possession of the Master Engine. According to the Joker, it was the Riddler who was behind everything, but as Gotham's finest interrogate the other villains they hear differing accounts of the battle, and the other villains are all consistent in denying that the Riddler was present.

Synopsis
As Gordon and Bullock continue their interrogation, The Joker tells them how Clayface posing as Batman stole the Master Engine but was stopped by Mister Freeze. At GCPD, Mister Freeze escapes and attempts to kill the Joker. Gordon tells the Joker what he believes are the true events that led to the Riddler's death.

Synopsis
As Gordon and Bullock try to understand the Joker's game, bombs planted around the city by the Joker detonate, including one at police headquarters. The Joker escapes in the confusion, aided by Punchline. As Batman arrives to stop the other villains from escaping, the Joker reveals his master plan to Punchline and how he staged the death of the Riddler to confuse everyone into trying to figure out who killed him.
