Synopsis
Receptionist Kit is engaged to Steve. She gives penniless artist Andre money to buy paints, remembering her late father, who was also an artist. Andre tries to impress Kit with his artistic genius, scheming to have her finance his career. Steve exposes Andre as a talentless fraud.
Lucy is engaged to Jimmy, the sales manager at the paint company where she works. Chemist Don, who also loves Lucy, invents a new type of paint that Jimmy thinks will make a lot of money. When Jimmy and Lucy discover a flaw in the paint, they agree to cover it up, but Lucy changes her mind and exposes the problem before the company can go into production. She also decides Don is the man she really wants to marry.

Synopsis
Donna and Paul plan to wed and move to a ranch in Wyoming. She has second thoughts when wealthy Stan urges her to marry him instead. Donna finds her grandmother’s diary. Mary Dalby’s parents tried to force her to marry rich Franklin, but she ran off to participate in the Oklahoma Land Rush with her true love Tom. They lived a long and happy life. Donna knows now that Paul is the one for her, despite his lack of money.

Synopsis
Farm girl Maggy wants to be a movie star. Agent Chris has her change her name to Mona Mason and guides her career. Chris loves Maggy but she refuses to commit. Instead, she sets her sights on socialite Dobbs Crane III, passing herself off as high society herself. They become engaged. Chris brings Maggy’s parents to Hollywood but, ashamed, she introduces them as former servants of her family. The old people nearly die in a fire, but are rescued by Maggy and Chris. With her true origins revealed, Maggy is dumped by Dobbs but now admits she loves Chris.
