- Synopsis
- Pretentious alleged “poet” and intellectual Jerome flatters Leona into believing she can become a novelist. This disrupts her relationship with her boyfriend Ned, a mechanic: “You’re going to be a housewife, so cut out the arty talk!” They break up, then Leona realises “I don’t have any talent!” She reconciles with Ned: “All I ever want to create is apple pie and pot roast!”
