Indexer Notes

Given the presence of several Timely comic strips in this issue, I wonder if the cover is also a Timely "left-over" from Krazy Krow Comics?

Indexer Notes

This story mentions a "Black Market" which was a wartime concept (due to rationing). The fact that this appears in a comic dated December 1946 suggests it was left-over inventory, probably from Timely/Marvel comics, where the character had also appeared.

What's Super Rabbit got that I ain't got?
Genre

Indexer Notes

The artwork here has a considerably finer line than Beck's mid-'40s work on Chesler titles, many of which were inked by Otto Eppers. Bails credits Beck with both pen/ink on this feature.

The reference to "Super Rabbit" and a "Buy Bonds" sign in one panel suggest (a) this was originally intended for Timely/Marvel ("Squat Car Squad" appeared in Joker and Gay Comics for that publisher), and (b) that it is old inventory (left over from war-time).
