This story contains a rare instance of Billy and Captain Marvel actually having a conversation with each other.
Originally credited to Clem Weisbecker, but this is Harry Anderson, who can be spotted by his unique faces with eyes that have a straight lower lid and high arched upper lid, and small lines outside the corners and thin, long eyebrows. Anderson is credited on this feature by Jerry Bails' Who's Who, and had many Nyoka stories, and also the Red Gaucho to compare with.
